Albert Einstein’s Puzzle – only 2% of all people can solve it

This riddle was invented by Albert Einstein about a century ago. According to him, only 2% of the world’s population are able to solve it.

Pretty interesting riddle to play with, don’t you think?

Terms of the puzzle:

1. Five houses, each painted in different color.
2. In each house lives a person from different nationality.
3. Each of them prefers a certain drink, smoke a certain brand of cigarettes and has its own pet.
4. NONE of the above 5 people prefers the same drink, smokes the same brand and has the same pet as the rest of them.

Instructions for solving the puzzle:

1. The Englishman lives in the red house.
2. The Swede has a dog.
3. The Dane loves to drink tea.
4. The green house is on the left of the white house.
5. The Norwegian lives in the first house.
6. The owner of the green house drinks coffee.
7. The person who smokes Pall Mall, has bird for a pet.
8. The man in the middle house drinks milk.
9. The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
10. The Marlboro smoker lives next to the person who has a cat.
11. The man who has the horse lives next to the one who smokes Dunhill.
12. Winfield smoker drinks beer with pleasure.
13. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
14. The German smokes Rothmans.
15. The Marlboro smoker has a neighbor, who drinks water.
